Whether the patient is in need of surgical care due to fractures, arthritic bone deterioration, or spinal disorders Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon physicians are Board Certified in their field and take the time to continually learn the newest techniques in surgical restoration. On-call for emergency rooms at Mercy Health in Muskegon, North Ottawa Community Hospital in Grand Haven, and Mercy Health St. Mary's in Grand Rapids. OAM physicians and physician assistants are there when you need them.

A state-of-the-art digital X-ray system is part of our practice and includes three imaging suites, with one specifically developed for foot and ankle. Your physician is able to view images immediately after your X-ray in the exam room, which helps them discuss the findings with you.

Our surgeons perform surgery at Mercy Health Muskegon locations, Muskegon Surgery Center, and North Ottawa Community Hospital.

Dr. McCausland, Dr. Droppers, and Dr. Hawkins specialize in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and focus their attention on the origin of the pain associated with injuries and disease within the musculoskeletal and neurological systems. Treatment plans are developed in order to help the patient reach their maximum functional potential.

Services included in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation include evaluation of back and neck pain or pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries and or nerve issues. Injections, Botox treatments, home therapy suggestions, and physical therapy may be included in a treatment plan. There are certainly times when surgical intervention may ultimately be needed. However, there are multiple non-surgical interventions available.

Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon hosts a warm, friendly environment in a state-of-the-art facility with digital X-ray and ultrasound used for both diagnosis and injection guidance. We also offer complete physical therapy and occupational therapy services at four locations throughout the Muskegon/Grand Haven area.
