We recognize that each patient has different limitations and abilities. That’s why we do a complete assessment of your condition before creating a therapy program that’s customized for you. When you work with one of our therapists, they’ll take time to educate you and answer your questions, and give you the personalized care you need to recover as soon as possible without risking reinjury.
It may be time to see a therapist if you are experiencing persistent, chronic pain and you suspect it is due to an injury or overuse. Delaying your assessment could lead to further injury and a longer recovery period.
You should arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete all necessary paperwork. You will also be thoroughly evaluated by a therapist prior to discussing the best course of treatment for you. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely to all appointments.
Once your assessment is complete, you and your therapist will review your personalized therapy plan. This plan may include a combination of treatment at our office and exercises you should expect to do at home. Our goal is to address the source of your pain in as few office visits as possible, while giving you the knowledge and tools you need to continue to be pain free and avoid reinjury in the future.
Your first appointment includes your initial assessment may last as long as an hour; however, most ongoing appointments will last 30-45 minutes.
Some insurances still require a physician referral before covering therapy expenses. Our staff can help clarify your coverage if you are unsure.
